This cheese & cracker segmented bowl has 37 pieces of birdseye maple, a rare domestic wood. The marble tile is 6" in diameter with beveled edge. The dome is also 6".

These cheese planes are made of Bocote & Macassar Ebony, exotic woods.The metal is stainless steel.
These toothpick holders are all made of cedar. Each has a different shape which brings out the unique grain as it is turned.
These rolling pins all contain exotic woods: Canary wood, Panga Panga, Pau Amarello, Purpleheart, & Zebrawood. The design is created by the positioning of the woods and the grains as they are turned. The holder at the top is positioned so it could mount to a wall or sit in a flat position
The center toothpick holder is made of Canary wood, Pau Amarello, Purpleheart, & Zebrawood. The other two are made of white ash and walnut. The shape adds interest to the appearance of the grains as it is turned.
The handle of the ice cream scoop on the left is walnut a domestic wood. The grain is very interesting as it is turned. The metal is stainless steel.The next two ice cream scoops have a polished brass scoop. The handle in the center is cherry, the right one is sycamore. The grain of the cherry and sycamore is much more subtle than walnut. They are not dishwasher safe.
The salad servers seen here are made of exotic woods: on the left top Marble wood, bottom left Bocote. On the top right, domestic wood figured maple, bottom right, domestic wood walnut. The grain and the different shapes when turned make each set "one of a kind". The metal portion is stainless steel. $40.00 / set.
The handle of the pizza cutter on the left is turned from domestic wood walnut. The handle of the cutter on the right is turned from exotic Bocote and domestic woods: cherry, figured maple and walnut. The colors and grains as well as placement of the woods compliment the design. The cutter is a 4" stainless steel wheel.
The three pizza cutters have a 4" stainless steel wheel. The handle on the left has 11 pieces of Bloodwood and silver maple in it. The 3 pieces of Purpleheart and silver maple create a different look than the far right which has 7 pieces of Purpleheart and silver maple in it. All three handles are turned differently giving a unique and comfortable feel to each.
These cheese planes are made of Zebra wood and sycamore. The grain and the design of the handles give each one an unique appearance.
ALL KITCHEN ART HAS A FOOD SAFE FINISH
The three pizza cutters above have a 4"dia stainless steel blade and a very sturdy chrome plated encasement. The wood handles are : Timboti, subtle close grain, 1.25"dia. x 6"L, Chechan, very distinctive grain and color, 1.25"dia. x 6"L, Yucatan Rosewood, a reddish close grained wood, 1.25"dia. x 6"L. Each handle is turned with a different shape to accent the grain.
These coffee scoops are 2 Tablespoon scoops. The metals are left to right: stainless steel & gold titanium alternating. The handles have exotic woods left to right: Black and White Ebony, Panga Panga, Avodire. The far right is domestic Big Leaf Maple Burl. The grain of the woods are very distinctive making them one of a kind. The handles are .5" dia. x 3.25". $30.00 ea
The coffee scoops on the left have a handle of Big Leaf Maple Burl. There is a beautiful movement in the wood making it very unique. The metal finish on all three is Gold T/N. The handle on the right is coffee beans imbedded in acrylic. The scoops are 1 tablespoon each. The handles are .5" x 3.25". $30.00/ea
The coffee scoop handles at the top are made of coffee beans imbedded in acrylic, they have been turned longer than the one above: left to right .75" dia x4.25"L, .5"dia. X 4.0"L. The handles on the bottom are Big leaf Maple Burl and Bolivan Rosewood. The grain of the woods and the shape make each one unique. They are .75" x 4.25"L. All are one tablespoon measures. The handles of the salad server sets here have exotic woods, Marblewood on the left & Macassar Ebony on the right. The grain of the marble wood changes as seen in the pictures. The Macassar Ebony has a very interesting grain also. The metal is stainless steel, They are approx. 12" long x 2-3/8" tapering to 1.5" handle. $60.00 /set.

The three Nutcrackers above have a slliver gray finish and are heavy-duty. They can crack hard, large nuts including walnuts, pecans, hazelnuts and more. The handles are turned from exotic woods and domestic. Left to right: Zebrawood, Redheart (both from Africa) and Walnut (N America). The handles have a good length and diameter giving a good feel for cracking nuts. The grains add a great deal of interest. They are 2" dia x 8" L. $30.00 / each.

The ceramic vegetable peelers above feature a heavy-duty casting that holds the ultra-sharp peeler blade of zirconium oxide ceramic, which is second only to diamonds in hardness while remaining sharper longer than any steel. The ceramic blade will not react with food. The wood of each handle is coated with a very durable food safe coating to prevent damage to the wood. It is wood however, so it is not dishwasher safe. Zircote has a very subtle grain but is beautiful. It comes from Belize & Mexico.
Figured Poplar comes from North America. The colors and grain are very unusual and would go well with one of the salad bowls.
Spalted Tamarind comes from Tropical Africa. The grain is subtle but the spalting adds a lot of character.
Canary Wood comes from South America. It is known as the rainbow wood because of the streaking of brown, red or blue.The heartwood and sapwood are yellow.
The metal of the ice cream scoops above is 304 stainless steel which features a hawk bill point designed to cut through the hardest ice cream. It is designed to seal off the end of the handle so that the grain is protected from the elements. The woods are as indicated in the pictures. Each has a very distinctive grain and appearance.
